George Glamour and Story: A Healing Workshop

Today’s world constantly insists that we fall in line with the majority culture and disregards any ill effects this has on our well being. Those of us who exist in marginalized and liminal spaces – the queers, the witches, the oppressed of every color and creed – know the pain that comes from an inauthentic life.

Let’s come together and discuss the healing, radical power in claiming your body and image for yourself. We’ll explore the healing nature of telling and living your own, truest story.

Sol Home Crafted Medicines: Alchemy on a Budget

A workshop that gives a brief history on alchemy and how our ancestors used it. The discussion will then cover basic, yet powerful, alchemical herbal remedies, their creation and application, and the use of stars and planets to increase their strength.

Sarah Heartsong Intuitive Tarot: Magical Deepening

We never know who will show up or what will happen when we approach this subject with an open mind and heart with the spaciousness to share and Teach each other.

Jessa Traditions of Asclepios: Exploring an ancient healing art

In Ancient Greece there were many shrines dedicated to the healing God Asclepios. To the ancients these shrines were thought of in the same way as we think of modern medical clinics and people went there to get well. Many techniques were used. Some magical and some that are roots of modern medical practices.

The most important experience that every supplicant would undergo was the incubation. This treatment involved sleeping at the temple, and experiencing a dream whereby they would interact with the God to receive either a direct healing or instruction to achieve healing.

This class explores these traditions. We will cover the history and philosophy on the Asclepian traditions, learn about the similarities of dream incubation and modern psychological practices including hypnotherapy.

We will enter the world of Asclepios with a guided meditation evoking the time and experience of the historic shrines.

We will also create a talisman for your own healing focus as was once done as an offering at the Asclepian shrines. Please have, if possible, a sculptable material such as clay or fimo. You can also do a drawing if this is not possible. The finished piece would be small, fit in a teacup size.

Please join me for this interactive class experience focused on teaching you a variety of skills for your personal healing journey.
